What scoring formats does RoundBoss support?add
Ten formats: Match Play, Team Match Play, Hybrid (match play points plus a low-score bonus), Performance, Stroke Play, Stableford, Scramble, Best Ball, Alternate Shot, and Golf Outing mode for single-day events. Skins and low-net prizes can be added to any of them, and every point value, bonus and handicap parameter is configurable.
Do my players need to download an app?add
No. Each player gets a personal link (or QR code) that opens their dashboard in any mobile browser. No app store, no account, no password. It can be added to the home screen like an app.
Is RoundBoss compatible with GSPro?add
Yes. Install the RoundBoss GSPro plugin on each simulator PC and every hole streams live from the bay to the league leaderboard, the TV display and each player's dashboard. The plugin configures the GSPro round from your league settings and locks it for the round. It is included with the Golf Course Starter and Pro plans.

Solo players are free. Independent league managers pay $10 per player seat, active for one year, on the Clubhouse plan (outdoor leagues). Golf courses and simulator facilities choose Golf Course Starter ($799 per 6-month Season Pass or $1,188 per year; 1 location, up to 10 leagues, up to 4 bays) or Golf Course Pro ($1,599 per season or $2,388 per year; unlimited leagues and bays). No per-player fees on facility plans, no monthly plan. Additional locations are 20% off.
What is the Season Pass?add
A 6-month term for facility plans, for venues that only run leagues part of the year. It covers any 6 consecutive months starting the day you pay — $799 for Starter, $1,599 for Pro — with everything the plan includes. If you run leagues year-round, the annual plan covers 12 months for about 50% more than one season.
Can a per-player Clubhouse league use the simulator features?add
No. The GSPro plugin, kiosk check-in, TV leaderboard and live scoring are part of the Golf Course Starter and Pro plans, because the simulator facility is the customer for those features. Clubhouse leagues are outdoor leagues with manual score entry by players or the manager.
How does handicapping work?add
You choose the method per league: a rolling average over the last N played rounds (with an optional drop-highest rule and a stroke multiplier, 90% by default), an established handicap you set per player, or a WHS index. Strokes are applied on the hardest holes by the course's handicap ratings.
What happens when a player misses a week?add
You set the rules: flat miss points, an optional makeup round the following week, and a cap on how many misses count per season (four by default). With Play the Card enabled, the present player plays against the course card instead of forfeiting the match.
Is there a free trial?add
Yes. Every new Clubhouse league starts with a 14-day free trial for up to four players, no credit card required. When you're ready, activate the league at $10 per player seat.
Can I have a co-manager?add
Yes. Invite one co-manager per league with granular permissions for score entry, matchup generation and player management.
Can golf courses use RoundBoss without leagues?add
Yes. Golf courses use RoundBoss for digital scorecards: golfers scan a QR code to check in, score on their phone and keep a round history and ranking at your course. Course owners get golfer management, round analytics and facility tools. Leagues hosted at the course are covered by the facility plan with no per-player fees.
